How it works
Five steps. Zero jargon.
From “hi” to a live website, here’s exactly what happens, and who does what.
-
Step 1: A free chat
A 15-minute call (or an email thread, if you prefer). You tell me about your business and your customers. I ask a few questions and suggest what’s worth doing.
- You
- Tell me what you do and what you want more of.
- Me
- Recommend a package and give you a clear price.
-
Step 2: A design preview
Once we’ve agreed on the plan, the first 50% gets things started. I design your homepage and show it to you before building the rest.
- You
- Send photos, your logo if you have one, and anything you want said.
- Me
- Write, design and share a preview you can click through.
-
Step 3: Revisions
You tell me what you love and what you don’t. I adjust until it feels like your business, then build out the rest of the pages.
- You
- Give honest feedback. “I don’t like it” is fine, and so is “make it more blue.”
- Me
- Make the changes and finish every page on phones and desktops.
-
Step 4: Launch
I connect your domain, set up the finishing touches (like your Google Business Profile, if it’s in your package) and flip the switch. The second 50% is due at launch.
- You
- Give it a final look and a thumbs-up.
- Me
- Launch it, test it and show you how everything works.
-
Step 5: Care
If you choose a care plan, I look after hosting, security, backups and updates, and handle your edits. Month-to-month, with 30 days’ notice to cancel.
- You
- Send me changes whenever you need them.
- Me
- Keep your site fast, safe and up to date.
Most small sites go from first chat to launch in a few weeks. The biggest factor is usually how quickly photos and words come together, and I’ll help with both.
Step one takes 15 minutes.
Book a free call and we’ll figure out the rest together.
